it is a rather circular argument. for years people clowned the idea of playing the SP campaign in a lot of these games, but then everyone was up in arms about TitanFall not having one. I guess you can't keep everyone happy, or maybe people just like to complain :yeshrug:
There is a section of people out there that will not buy games without a SP campaign.

I'm one of them.

These guys seemed to have enjoyed what they played so far. From the looks of it, they've captured everything everyone said was wrong with 1 and added it to this game while updating what was already in 1.

Honestly you shouldn't trust these youtube gamers. They're basically paid to say a game is great. We just have to wait for it to come out.

I agree. I rock with Arekkz for his content on The Division so he's a trusted source for me.

They don't outright praise it, but give details to the gameplay they experienced.

Destinys story mode was the same as Titanfall. Only difference is one is co-op the other is pvp.

And I was referring only to Halo 5 campaign.
Destiny's story mode was not the same as Titanfall's at all. Titanfall's story was told while you're playing a multiplayer mode and you're fighting other players.

Destiny actually has bosses and distinctive enemies that different attributes about them. It's not anything like what is in Titanfall.

Titanfall is better than all of those games :manny:

Especially Destiny :rudy:
Destiny is the better game by a landside. Titanfall's gameplay is top notch, but unlike Destiny... it failed to keep the player based intrigued. I wouldn't be surprised if Destiny's next expansion does more numbers than Titanfall 2.

Destiny is the only console game I've seen remain as active as this... There's just too much shyt to do in a game like Destiny to compare Titanfall to it. That Titanfall 2 trailer is fire though.

It's only different because it's PVE.

Titanfall had unique NPCs and events during the "campaign" as well

Exactly. Meaning it's nothing alike.

Titanfall is PVP the entire time.
The fukk.:heh:

Halo is a separate campaign with co-op.

What destiny did was put some story on top of the general mmo-lite gameplay. A "campaign" strike and a regular strike are the same damn thing on the same levels.

What destiny did was more similar to Titanfall, than a traditional campaign.

I'm not understanding what Halo has to do with this discussion.

You can play the Story Missions in Destiny, by yourself. You do not need to play with anyone (co-op). You cannot play anything in Titanfall that isn't multiplayer. The main reason Destiny isn't like a traditional game with a campaign is because it's an always-online game. But outside of that, you can play everything outside of the harder stuff like modified Strikes/Raids by yourself.

Halo and other FPS like COD have dedicated traditional campaigns in which you play levels and events, and even use weapons that you can't use or experience in multiplayer. They are fully separate experiences.

The campaign in destiny whether you are playing alone (which you can't really do cause you have to be online) or with a group is the same as the non-campaign stuff. No dedicated levels, areas, or experiences.

If you are always online, you are not playing by yourself :francis:
