Did anybody answer why a lot of people don't have better questions than what you do for a living as a "conversation" starter? Y'all cats lives can't be that boring for those that do that off top

Where is your ring and what kind of physics did you have to study? And im sorry when I check the professional engineering designations I dont see network engineering anywhere. Just call yourself an IT guy.

It reminds me of the time i was doing an internship at the water department. It was my first day and I was in the bathroom washing my hands making small talk with this old guy. I asked him if he was an engineer too, he replied yeah.....Maintenance. He was the janitor.

hnestly as long as she works hard at what she does I could care less, you know my posts in the quick gems, ive dated women at the top of the ladder economically and some what it certs 6 figure dudes would consider the low totem pole,.

and if you notice one group is the group you see on opera and one dating sites talking about how they cant find a "real man"

I've dated women who went for their doctorates, worked in law firms, did contracting etc and even though they made $$$ they had serious character flaws. On otherhand I met teachers, bank tellers and cashiers who were down to earth. Im not saying one class is better then the other, lets say one group seeme more stuck up the others :shaq2:

People ask me ALL the time, but I never ask anyone. I'll be at a bar, and it'll be the second question they ask me after my name. Yet I never care to ask them. Sometimes it takes me awhile to know what my friends actually do for a living lol. I judge based on their actions, what we end up talking about and their characteristics. It's pretty cool because sometimes Ill be chopping it up with someone at the bar, dude is hella chill, laid back, we're talking about raunchy shyt, girls from other countries and what we've done there, only to find out it's an ex-mayor from some city in Australia. Had I known it was a Mayor prior, I would have probably got into other discussions and asked different questions (like political ones). You really get to know a person if you don't ask what they do for a living. I feel like that question, when asked right off the bat, can morph a greeting before it even starts.

last chick that asked me i told her i'm a Pimp :ld:she hasn't asked me since.

It really depends if you get that weird feeling when they ask. Your gut will tell you if they're asking because they want to get to know you or because they want to put you in a box. Once your gut confirms what it is, treat her accordingly.

I see your point but even if she is a hard worker, you have to think to yourself (hypothetically) "If she was the one" would she make a good mother, cook, clean, nurture or would she be like Peg from Married with Children ala Sits on her @ss everyday, nags, complains while im bringing home the bacon. Now as for the ones on Oprah complaing about men they dd that to themselves  Yes I met women who worked in law firms and doctor offices who were stuck up and didnt know how to cook

yup and thats another thing, just because you date and marry a woman whose say is working making money, who knows what will happen when she has children. My brother in law married my sister when she was working, now 3 kids later (all under 5), my sister stays home.

A woman shouldnt expect a "baller" look at the times we live in.People can say we dont live paycheck to paycheck but we all do,no one is immune to a pink slip.Occupation should NEVER be an issue when you just meeting somebody or even dating notice I said meeting or dating now marriage is a different topic all together.Outside of Supreme Court Judge and coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers :bryan: no job holds stability in this world.

Thats what im saying,no disrespect to your sis but thats how it is with women.Sometimes it seems women work cause they have to not because they WANT To.They build up their credit, take vacays, buy Gucci,Louie etccc and when they settle down they settle down.Ever since beginning women have option of staying home and thats what they want if they find that stable man.Going back to what im saying $$$ and status matters to them just as body type matters to us men...women will avoid a lower blue collar level worker as us men will avoid a woman shaped like Precious (harsh but true) :manny:
