Be 6'8 was my conclusion
Bruh you 6 ft and you squat over 3 plates your technique is probably fukked up
Run as fast as you can to the hoop, if you under 6’3 you can’t run up lazy, run as fast as you can and focus on putting the ball through the hoop not grabbing the rim
You a 1 foot or 2 foot jumper?

Have you ever did Nordic curls? How often to you squat? Weighted hip thrusts? What about box jumps? These things should get you there since it was just 2 inches.
Thanks for the support both of you. It was more of a joke since it's been 3 years since I made this thread. But right now I've been rehabilitating from a shoulder injury I sustained doing OHP. And some bullshyt as tendonitis in my knee and a hamstring strain. Couple that with the pandemic and the past year or so hasn't been good for my athleticism. I got 2 more months of PT before I can even think of hooping again let alone dunking. But I ain't giving up hope. Y'all right

I'm 5'7".....I'd probably need a 35"+ vert at least to comfortably dunk and I'd probably have to 2-hand it....so maybe even a little higher.

Seen one breh back in high school, he was 5'4" at the most. Dude jumped straight off the court with no running start and grabbed the rim with both hands. Literally jumped straight up, shoes in my face :russ:. Dude looked like an 18-year old Kevin Hart.

The craziest hops I've ever seen in person:ohhh:

What is your height, weight, and how much can you barbell squat?

I'm 5'6". At one point, I got pretty strong in my legs and I was not heavy, around 159 lbs. I started working on my vertical jump at the college gym. I got as far as getting the second digit of my middle finger touching the rim. When I realized I needed to be able to hold the ball above the rim, I quit. No way, I could get another 5 inches on a vertical jump since I can't palm. But really, I would need even more height if I wanted to air jordan dunk it with three steps so my apex would put the ball way above 11 feet. :mjcry:
You should used one of them girl balls and palmed it:mjgrin:no one isn’t going to shyt on a 5’6” nikka dunking on a legit 10 foot rim :manny:
