Beat me to it.If you can palm it than the rest is all plyometrics breh. Squats, calf raises, box jumps. For all your exercises lift lower weight and focus on explosiveness. And once you get high enough remember to be really aggressive when you tryna dunk in game. You should be seeing just you and the rim when you going up. I couldn't dunk at the beginning of the year and I just posterized a nikka a few days ago
What is your height, weight, and how much can you barbell squat?I'm almost able to dunk, I'm about 2 inches away. I can grab rim and jump high enough that half of my hand is over the rim.
I've been practicing dunking and in almost there but th ball hot the rim and bounces off. I can Palm the ball no problem any tips on getting that last 2-3 inches on my vert?

I'm 5'6". At one point, I got pretty strong in my legs and I was not heavy, around 159 lbs. I started working on my vertical jump at the college gym. I got as far as getting the second digit of my middle finger touching the rim. When I realized I needed to be able to hold the ball above the rim, I quit. No way, I could get another 5 inches on a vertical jump since I can't palm. But really, I would need even more height if I wanted to air jordan dunk it with three steps so my apex would put the ball way above 11 feet.

I'm making some big assumptions, but I am guessing you could stand to lose maybe 13 lbs. of fat, which would help your vertical.
