:pachaha: That's completely false. He had people chanting his name during a Rock promo. There was a period when his merchandise was one of the top selling. As for his gimmick who knows if he would have evolved. Obviously he has no motivation to undergo a significant gimmick change now since his morale is extremely low after seeing how his push was handled.

I have been watching this shyt forever and I don't remember any of this, I was actually watching the shows weekly and without skipping and I don't remember this. I'm sorry but yall confuse some random chants with actually being over.. Dude needs to either go to the indies or try his hand at something else, cause this wrestling shyt aint it

Vince added the "burn it down" to Seth's theme
:heh: No he didnt

Rollins told the story that they approached him and said they wanted to add something during the silence between the intro and his theme. They gave him a bunch of random inserts with no significance and the Burn it Down was the least terrible so reluctantly he picked that. They were fine with whatever he chose. Everyone was surprised when it got over. He almost chose to use his cartoon villain laugh during the pause instead :dead:

As for the thread title, I say the current position of Rusev Day and Lana. Right where they should be imo, I dont get the appeal of any of them.

And what you said was that he wasn't behind the 3 biggest stars he's ever had, despite heavily promoting them and pushing them to those spots, poaching Hogan from Verne AND Inoki, restructuring the entire direction of the company around Austin, and naming a show after Rock while he was an active wrestler not even at his peak yet and the show still carried the name 19 years later.

:skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip::skip:

“he acquired hogan”

“he heavily promoted them”

you keep sayin the same thing.

no doubt all those guys succeeded largely due to vince’s business model and through his heavy promotion.

but he was not the creative force behind anything having to do with their character. he didn’t coin the catchphrases, the look, the gimmicks... none of that.

Roman Reigns is the top guy in WWE and he is now filling the spot left vacant by John Cena. The 16x World Champion missed his first SummerSlam in fifteen years while he was in China filming Project X with Jackie Chan. While Cena has been away, The Wrestling Observer Newsletternotes that Reigns has also taken over Big Match John's place on top of the merchandise sales list as well.

Vince wins

nikka, you're getting confused by the terminology he's using. Stop spamming the smilies.

He thinks by saying "he wasn't behind him" that you're implying he didn't support them, when you obviously just mean he didn't come up with their characters.

He was right to cut Benoit from the wwe image.

Dude was a deranged maniac.

He was right to bring Lesnar in as insurance since the roster lacks true star power.

Vince was right to buy wcw & ecw ,bring heyman & Bischoff in so they can kiss the ring.
