This was...a tough read :to:

Seems like he had a severe lung infection on top another when he was recovering. Does make me wonder the decision process when someone's body is shutting down like that. One thought is maybe another doctor exhausts every option, but the other thought they did exhaust every option and it was at one of the better clinics in Florida.


Didnt know him and Big E were that close and I aint gonna lie I got emotional reading how E was there for Brodie's fam. The part about him and Cody seeing his son had me tearing me up reading this:to:

If it’s one thing that has annoyed me during this pandemic, it’s how so much has taken a backseat to Covid. Stuff that even during a pandemic should be more alarming.

whether it’s a lung issue or cancer or whatever it is, it’s as if doctors are like “fukk all that. Does he have Covid?” You could get shot in the head, rushed to the hospital and a doctor is gonna look at the patient like “yeah I see the bullet wound, but does he have Covid?” This pandemic has been so destructive but let’s not forget that there are so many people out here who compared to what they’re dealing with, wish they had Covid. Amanda would trade his lung failure for 3 positive Covid tests if she could.

Wow that was hard to read

Cody & Big E being there for Brodie made me tear up,I mean what can you say to a little boy who just lost his father,that had to be heartbreaking for everyone involved

You could tell by Big E twitter that he was really going through it and now we learn he was there with the family

That was a tough read. It’s great that they have such a strong support system from everyone in the business. Big E and Cody being there to help break the news to Brodie Jr. was very gracious on their part. It also takes me back to my brother’s hospital stay, it went almost out exactly as she described for him as well except of course thankfully he survived but it was very touch and go. That’s the main reason this hit me especially hard.

My brother had something similar happen to him at the end of 2017. They still don’t know what happened, he had all the same symptoms. Thankfully he survived the ordeal.

Something similar happened with my mom in 2019 and it was a month and change of pure hell. Luckily she recovered but the doctors had no clue why she was so sick and were thinking she would need a transplant.
Months later they said she had Legionnaire's Disease which had us all like :dahell: because she was a pre-school teacher who just goes to work, church and home so no one had any idea that would be what made her sick.
