No way . Why is he trying to give Bush so much credit for a temporary fix? :ohhh:

the US' deficit is so fukking absurd at this point. I dont see how spending $$$ and waiting for everything to even out is a logical strategy.

since we're Americans, we have the highest GDP in the world.... we're supposed to just say fukk a credit rating?
The article isn't giving really giving Bush credit. It's simply saying that when you're in a low growth period and monetary options have been all but exhausted, the way to spur demand is through deficit spending to create demand. It pointed out that top-heavy tax cuts and funding two wars is a poor method of stimulus and not good overall policy, but a stimulus nonetheless.
