I doubt it. Republicans made sure to run with the narrative that Clinton had nothing to do with the economy picking up (and they were right for the wrong reasons), they'll definitely nail that home with a guy they hate even more.Obama will be first when the economy picks up

He gave away jobs so companies could make more money. From the perspective of developing nations, he may be considered a hero. To Americans out of work, he may be seen as a traitor. Its all perspective.

Mexico had an increase in manufaturing jobs though. The pay was probably not good compared to US standards but it was alot more then they were making before.

I think you're right but in the mind of the people with the means of production, an extra dollar an hour may help them upgrade their homes from cloth to tin.I thought you were talking about the nations directly involved in NAFTA. I don't know much about how NAFTA helped China but I know with the rise of China, the prices of things for consumers in Mexico has gone down.
Though it boosted manufacturing in Mexico, I think overall it hurt the average citizen more than it helped. Most of the growth ended up in the pockets of the guys at the top and the influx of those huge businesses destroyed most of the smaller ones.
It was like they crushed the Mexican's self-sufficiency and forced them to depend on foreigners, friend
