Not a huge anime guy but this series is crack. What series goes harder than berserk? Or at least can bang with it as far as storylines, battles, violence etc?

Couldn't get past the black pedo rapist.

Things get off to a rough start with some pretty ugly racist imagery, when Guts is raped as a boy by another mercenary, clearly depicted as a hulking black man, one of the few characters in the series so far to have an explicit race.
