From what I understand, these were political groups engaging in politics and they wanted to be tax exempt. They should have been targeted. It was probably way more tea party groups than liberal groups, so of course it would look like they picked on conservatives . Thats like saying David Stern picks on blacks in the nba.

There is direct evidence that the IRS was withholding granting tax-exempt status from conservative groups and on the flipside quickly approving the tax exempt status of groups with liberal sounding names. Its disgusting.

In that time, the IRS approved perhaps dozens of applications from similar liberal and progressive groups, a USA TODAY review of IRS data shows. As applications from conservative groups sat in limbo, groups with liberal-sounding names had their applications approved in as little as nine months. We had a free press back in the 60's and early 70's...not now. It's independent news from public funded media and internet news is free press, not MSM. If one Rich Man owns multiple news organizations and papers...it isn't free.

I miss those days when we had REAL scandals. Like Iraq, Katrina, Big Bank bailouts, the President getting a blowjob, Iran Contra...shyt the Patriot Act. Now we have to hear about the IRS doing their job, an Embassy getting attacked (like it's the first time that shyt ever happened), oh and the AP getting spied on. These are some weak ass "scandals". I take that drone strike kill orders more seriously than this shyt. Benghazi happened and the only one who should be held accountable is Hilary. The IRS head stepped down because this is embarrassing that the IRS would look heavily into groups with "Patriot" and "Tea Party" (The Irony), and people actually getting subpoena to look at the AP's phone records when they were DEMANDED by Republicans to get to the bottom of the CIA leaks. Yeah...Scandalous....
