NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
it's funny how Timbaland is now all of a sudden an authority on HIP-HOP....this dude crossed over when he started producing for Nicole Scherzinger, Nelly Furtado, etc.

I hate how HIP-HOP fans have such short memories

dude didnt actually cross over...cause that was Timbo's secret from the JUMP...dude was ALWAYS techno influenced and used techno sounds and me and a homie that was a producer used to even point that out in the late 90's..like he used techno sounds in his hip hop beats and that's a big thing that made him different...it I always appreciated how he had his own sound and was creative wit it...

First of all 808s are timeless. The same old trap music chord progressions and sounds are what's really played out.

Producers should bring back that smooth, laid back shyt...

The super loud trap 808s are part of that sound along with trap chord progressions and all that

You don't have one without the other

Personally I'm tired of beats like this

I'l say this, bass drums will NEVER be played out.

People will always want bassy songs in the club or in their ride.

That thump goes right thru your body.
