Aww shyt, this dude aint even a real hip hop head, he going off "radio singles" and shyt..
He only heard Mannie Fresh "radio singles"
You right breh..
Timbo the best
breh.. remember that Pimp C/Jeezy thread on when nobody knew what the South was..
nah breh
I already made threads on Timbo's album work
Ginuwine 100% was a dope album
He has done hiphop AND R&B.
Pony alone is a bigger song than the whole Cash Money catologue
Oh ok
Bigger than this...I hear this every time I step in the club or go to a party...I rarely hear Pony...but you got it breh...
And
Bling Bling - was coined in the dictionary off of this
This was after 02thats all fine and dandy. between 98 to maybe 02, no one was seeing Fresh Cash Money work. But Fresh aint stand the test of time, can you at least be real about that. Timbo produced for 2Pac to Aaliyah/Ginuwine to Jay-Z & Justin Timberlake.
A true producer can make music for everyone and Timbo did that.
This was after 02
he was riding off the Cash Money wave then.
You know urself Mannie's placements have slowed down post Cash Money.
Timbo also wasn't doing all "his" beats..Nah,
Like I stated before, Fresh didn't have the pleasure of working with your "POP" artist like Dr.Dre and TImbo and Pharell.
After he left CMR rumors were that Baby black-balled that mane so he wouldn't work with ppl..
Slowed down and I posted post CMR tracks from that dude...
Like I said. Fresh produced ENTIRE ALBUMS for artists, not singles for different artists..that's easy...Has Timbo Produced an entire Hip Hop/Rap Album that went 4 to 5 x platinum?
Timbo also wasn't doing all "his" beats..
In terms of producers from The South, Premo, The Neptunes, Organized Noize, Earthtone 3, and Mike Dean are his only legit competition. Respect to Mannie, Pimp C, N.O. Joe and Paul & Juicy J and Beats By The Pound because they are dope too. That first group is a whole other tier of producers though IMO.
