Tiktok is being banned because the government can't control it or censor it anyway they want. Tiktok is literally the only social media platform with free speech. While governments was censoring pro Palestine content, Tiktok was the only one that wasn't.
Now a days, you go on any platform or even sites with comment sections, and there are AI algorithms can monitor posts 24/7 and immediately block posts. The Yahoo comments section is regulated by an Israeli company. And it bans certain words and phrases, even if there is no ill intent.

Believe what you want to believe but that algorithm is powerful and sheep will flock to whatever China wants to push. China basically owns what TicTok can and can’t push. That shouldn’t have an affect on your mind but people can be affected by propaganda and it can shape your views.
What is a fact in 2025? What is “real” news? Plus we used to get our “information” from the top. Now we get our info from regular people and twitter and TicTok. Which is better, the govt telling you COVID shots are good and masks work or TicTok Joe telling you COVID shots causes cancer and masks will make you sicker?
