And as far as the rest of your post, Steve Forbes beat John Brown in December 2000 and didnt rematch him until September 2001, and was STILL the IBF Champion until August 2002 went he lost his belt for coming in overweight. Floyd and Steve Forbes could've fought anytime between December 2000 and August 2002 in an unification bout....but he didnt


He fought Corrales in January 2001, and JLC in April 2002. However, he STILL fought Carlos Hernandez in May 2001 and Jesus Chavez in November 2001 when either of those 2 fights could've been replaced with an unification bout pitting the WBC Champ vs the IBF Champion.....but "no nikkas"
