i can remember getting my pentium 4 and playing Jedi Knight 2 on it instead of my old celeron and being like @ the change

i never retracted my claim either, you just assume i cant and even if i was playing on very high, the fact i would have had to spend 1000+ to play a game that barely looks better than 2006 tech is abysmal

yet yall eat it up

any grown man knows the improvements do NOT match the money invested UNLESS you playing an MMO

but to tell me that you get value out of it is i will say that despite the haters i enjoyed d3(ive been too busy to really play lately) and the games ive tried are fun

but the problem is its not 1000 dollars fun, or even 600

if i could make the decision again, i woulda copped a black friday deal from the BX here in montgomery for some HP prebuilt normal ass comp and played the same games on normal graphics for probably 700 dollars less

and youre right, but this is a thread about graphics on systems. console graphics wont ever be better than pc graphics, so if youre looking for graphics, the BEST graphics....pc will always be the superior platform

with that said, too much emphasis is placed on graphics nowadays in general. the games themselves are fukking garbage gameplay and story wise, catering to the widest and stupidest audience possible. I wish devs would spend time and money to make good, challenging gameplay and story instead of empty ass graphics no one will care about in few months.

Get down with the Coli team in Day-Z when the standalone drops, I'm sure all the PC heads on here will be playing that game. And that shyt will be fun to roll as a group/gang, rape and pillage the land together. Don't give up on PC gaming before we've had a chance to people in DayZ

i would trade everything for jedi knight 4

but one thing that became abundantly clear to me about consoles and pc

is its forgotten that fact that PCs are not built for games first regardless the hardware you get, that tech is built to run operating system and multiple programs

so even if you got the best shyt, you not really tapping the full potential of the money invested, whereas with a console its 100% game out the box. so for less money you getting more bang. Atleast these days for sure
