I think we can all agree at this point that republicans/conservative/teapublicans hate obamacare more than they love their country. "Winning" the political games and retaining their pride is more important than stopping the U.S economy from fukking tanking. I don't know how anyone can ever vote republican going forward. Boehner is not a leader is panders to the extremist of his party to retain power as speaker of the house. He could care less about the lives of average people. It's sicking to see this shyt.

This shyt is fukking bananas. I've never seen dysfunction like this ever. Those of us working either directly or contracting with the fed govt have been feeling th pain during this shutdown, now it seems they want the whole country to feel it.

I tried warning dudes on my last Federal contract back in March this would happen but they didn't believe me. Best decision I've made was leaving Federal contracting behind for the private sector. I can only imagine the amount of Federal contractors who will jump ship if this shutdown drags on for much longer. But if the US defaults there won't be any private sector jobs for them to jump too.

The fact that they don't even know what they want is the most frustrating part.

1. First they wanted to defund Obama Care

2. Then it was to delay Obama Care

3. Then they come back with medical device tax

4. Finally they want to deny staffers healthcare

5. Now I'm not even sure what it is they want.

This is a sick joke.

This is a sick joke.

I think Chris Matthews is right...at this point they're motivated more by irrational hatred than any specific political goal.

The tea party is the GOP at this point, it's not some small section of the party that they can just tell to F off.

If they really were a small fringe wing none of this could be possible

It's not that, it's that you have money like the Koch brothers moving away from the moderate side of the party pumping money into the fringe lunatic side of the party. Though the republican party has no one to blame but themselves. They were desperate and they allowed this fringe lunatic side of the party through the door.

Not even that, the House's bill further LIMITS what the Treasury Secretary can do as far as paying our bills. This is unforeseen levels of fukkery. The Vitter amendment is nonsensical bullshyt. But people got who they voted for. All those people who were yelling in our ears on those phone lines back in 2010, here you go. It's a joke.

Birthers/ tea baggers amaze me, they got so desperate to prove Obama is a socialist born in another country that they relied on a man born in a Socialist country, Canadian Cruz lol.

These a$$holes want to go over the cliff Thelma and Louise style. Wallstreet can't even reign them in

C'mon son, if he cared more about the country then we wouldn't be in this situation in the 1st place.:pacspit:

I'm starting to think the only two realistic outcomes are -

1. We default
2. Obama/Dems bend over and take it from the Tea Party

Hope I'm wrong, but.. :to:
