I can't watch right now. What's he saying?

But this is a Republican Rep from Texas getting at a park ranger WHO THEY TOLD TO CLOSE THE PARK and trying to shame her for doing her job.

There's a real case of serious bytchassness going on with some of the House GOP members

I feel bad for Boehner ... He's being made the poster child for this mess and it's not his fault.

If there was a schism in the in Dem camp ... Barry would be just as lost

President Barack Obama on Thursday mocked a Republican lawmaker who said the party needs to “get something” out of the ongoing government shutdown but that he doesn’t “know what.”

“Think about that,” Obama said after quoting the lawmaker during a campaign-style event at a construction company in Rockville, Md. “You have already gotten the opportunity to serve the American people. There’s no higher honor than that. You’ve already gotten the opportunity to help businesses like this one, workers like these. So the American people aren’t in the mood to give you a goodie bag to go with it.”

Obama was rebutting Indiana Republican Rep. Marlin Stutzman, who said Wednesday that “we’re not going to be disrespected. We have to get something out of this. And I don’t know what that even is.”

I know I get at the overall pointlessness of political theater a lot, but this is genuinely funny.

It is his fault. He has the votes for a clean resolution but he won't bring it to the floor because he's scared of about 30 teabagger lunatics who might lead an effort to oust him as Speaker. He's gutless and spineless.

lmao, his reactions were damn near comedic throughout. "They could put this on the floor, any time, and get our govt running today, any time, *quickly glances at watch* in the next 5 minutes even.:yeshrug::beli:"

Considering the rise of these lunatics, i think he has some reason to be concerned. Not for himself but the future of his party.

These fukboy teabaggers are winning primaries and are only gonna keep growing.

No, they won't. The Republican majority decreased this past election and it only exists because of gerrymandering. The Tea Party is why they don't have a majority in the Senate.
