this looks interesting. I'll always give SK crime/thriller films a shot.

Man you absolutely have to give credit to the Korean casting teams. When it comes to finding a villain..... they damn near 100% stay finding the best people that look the evilest and conniving antagonist-like!

Just finished Search.

was only 10 episodes but it was kinda weird. Ending was hella weird. 6.75/10. Worth checking out, but don’t go out of your way. If you’re into zombies and shyt, it’ll be your cup of tea. Cast was cool too, just quite predictable imo.

Has anyone one else noticed an interesting Korean Series trend on how they not always solve the conflict but the end of an ep?

Like sometimes shyt happens, but it rolls over like another ep it 2. Then they finished it like it the middle, where in most cases for an American show, you get the feeling of “case closed, roll credit” but then a completely new issue or monster arrives in the second half the leads off to the cliffhanger for new eps!


That’s kind of a dope approach to their story telling

I actually couldn't decide on Vagabond's villain for a while. At first I pegged him as a bad guy then I was like nah and then the twist. Dude went full on Dal-Geon.

And the guy we all thought was the villain ended up being a fairly good guy and I hated seeing him go out like that

The guy who played Alberto in Crash Landing on You has a new show coming out next month. It's about a male chef who gets sent back in time and is trapped in the body of a queen, and he has to adjust to his new body/life/gender while trying to figure out how to go back to present day

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of romance myself but I don't mind it if it's sprinkled in different genres. For example, Titanic. IMO it's also a disaster film so if folks weren't going to die I would have skipped

Due to COVID this movie won't get to release in theaters so Netflix copped what looks like to be the first Korean space opera film.
