Since most of us in here relying on Netflix, I'll drop my list of recommended ones, I'm into pretty much everything except like historical stuff, so I'll watch espionage and spy stuff, but have no problem watching some cheesy romance/slice of life:
The K2
Crash Landing On You
Start Up (Still Airing)
Itaewon Class
Cheese In The Trap
Hospital Playlist
IRIS
Last (About a rich dude that becomes homeless and ascends to the top of an underground hobo fight club)
Stranger (really good)
Misaeng (slow at first, off-beat humor)
Voice (haven't seen s2 yet but heard great things)
It's Okay Not to Be Okay (I'm on Ep. 12 thus far, but hooked)
Bad Guys (There's a bad guys 2 but the cast is different...)
Vagabond
Record of Youth (I'm on ep 5, but I like it so far)
Black
My Shy Boss
Revolutionary Love (hilarious, main female lead is the same as Misaeng and I think she's cute..so..yeah)
Life (REALLLLLY GOOD, like low key)
The Reply series are hilarious/slice of life as well, I liked 1994 the best. I haven't seen 1988 yet
Suits (Yes, there's a Korean version that crams all 9 seasons into 16 episodes, the efficiency!!!)
Inheritors (aka Heirs, it's the typical rich man, poor woman story but funny, they shot a chunk of it in So Cal)
Sound of Your Heart (funny, I didn't like the reboot though)
Designated Survivor (I enjoyed it a lot, low key)
Chief of Staff (Bad guy from Rugal is the main character here)
My Mister (really good!!!!!)
Prison Playbook (This one got slept on alot for some reason??? But really good)
Live
Extracurricular (stepson from Itaewon Class is the main lead here)
My friends have highly recommended Let's Eat/Let's Eat 2, haven't started those yet. I've been told to watch Mystic Pop Up Bar as well.
There's one that popped up recently called Graceful Friends i'm going to start over the weekend
Avoid:
Rugal
Bad Guys: Vile City (I mean you can try, I just don't like a reboot of a show and a totally different cast)
Hyena (I got like 3 episodes in and man, I couldn't finish...and I'm about to be an attorney myself LOL)
Boys Over Flowers ( I mean you can, I just thought the Japanese and Taiwanese versions were 100x better)
Haven't seen enough to form an opinion:
Argon (I'm on episode 2 I think and just stopped watching cause I got sucked into Watcher on Viki, but will pick up at somepoint)
Now if you're like me and have gone off the deep end and paid for a VIKI subscription (but it's still accessible even if you don't pay, just ads), I can drop that list as well later this evening.
Hope this helps somewhat brehs, I know a lot you guys have probably already seen, but figured I'd drop it anyways for those that may have just gotten into it. I also have seen plenty of shows from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands, etc. I watch just about anything international if it looks interesting.
Edit: As a baseline though, I think all of y'all should watch City Hunter:
