I could never get into C-dramas. Chinese doesn't sound as good as Japanese or Korean and the women aren't as good looking

I much prefer the way Japanese sounds, but I really like the way Korean singers sound in their soundtracks. Im not too great at differentiating between their beauties, but I love the way Korean women in the dramas dress when they're going for the diva look. I'm hoping I eventually find a few C-Dramas that exceed my expectations, it seems that their target audience are themselves and surrounding areas

Highly Recommend Queen of Woo on Paramount.



The King has died, and the next in line for the throne is guaranteed to kill the queen and her family. So, she has to reach one of the King's siblings and arrange a marriage before the rest of the kingdom finds out. But each prince is fukked up in his own way, spies are all around, and there are assassins waiting to stop her.

This shyt is palace intrigue, action, and twists the whole way. It's good as hell!

It's part of Park Chan-Wook's Vengeance Trilogy. The most famous movie out of the three is Oldboy, which is pretty legendary. But this came first. It goes Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

They aren't actually connected by their stories, but they all have related themes. So, if you liked Oldboy, the other two are worth a peak.

I peeped Pyramid Game on Paramount...it was pretty good. They kinda connected HS bullies and hierarchies to societal problems, but kept it interesting and not overbearing.



Ironically, the ad-art reminded me of Battle Royale which is what got me to try it, but they're not alike...it still got me though.

Gonna try the Glory next. My Hulu account keeps crashing in the middle of shows, and then expects me to rewatch all the ads after it loses my place in the shows. So I'm missing out on their K-Drama stuff.

Hulu has some decent content but on gawd their ui is trash which puts off me watching stuff on it. Taking Prime's place in worse app.

Speaking of revenge dramas, I started the Glory...Korean Revenge Stories are always super extra in the best ways. This joint had me rooting for the vengeful girl off episode one and threw in some nice twists. I'm at the halfway point and it's been heat.
