yeah im a jay fan, but you can tell he didnt know what he was getting into. his reaction to ether shows he was taken aback by the response from nas and the public. and he went all emotinal after that on BP2 and TBA, great records but still. its like a tough talking bully who just has a natural swagger about them, once they get dealt with publically, they never the same. they are self conscious, unsure of themselves etc. thats how jay reacted. this and 50 storming the game is what sent him into early retirement i’d have to think. i dont thnk nas is a greatbattle rapper, but he always gonna have jays number. im prtty sude 50 could defeat nas in a abattle even cam’ron for that matter. cause they just gonna outclown nas. but with jay, he has a veneer of rap respectbility, there is real shyt nas can get at.Jay was never the same after
