Thoughts on These 4KTVs for PS5?

I'm not really a TV dude but I just want a good TV to play 4K games when my PS5 comes. Preferring something less than 50 inches but don't want to spend anything more than $500.

I hate to talk to a fellow PS5 patriot like this ...

But good brother all these TVs are trash, and none of them have hdmi 2.1 which is what you’ll need to enjoy some of the benefits of the station


My opinion ?

Save and get something nicer or buy a monitor that can do 4k 120 , maybe 1440p 120 .... not sure if ps5 will support that resolution natively though

Do research on rtings - they will supply you with the best cheapest option you should buy for next gen.

Tcl635 you won't necessarily need hdmi 2.1 the games will look great without it

HDMI 2.1 is for 4k 120hz, which the PS5 can't do, so he doesn't need a TV with HDMI 2.1

don't believe me even the sony products manager says it, because its just a simply fact

The next gen consoles can't do 4k 120hz so them Having HDMI 2.1 is a non factor

those TVs are trash because they can't do real HDR which you will need for the ps5, so if you want a cheap TV I suggest you get the TCL 6 series because at least you can have some real cheaper

and is the only TV at this price that can deliver a HDR with wide enough color gamut

Save up and get a refurbished or used entry level LG/Vizio/samsung

I’m currently selling my 50” 4k HDR samsung for 350 right now, just because i can’t justify giving it away.
