Jordan’s still got more hardware, but it’s not as big as the graphic. And how do we account for All-NBA teams?

Jordan is simply too rooted in popular culture to not be the sport's defacto icon.

Jordan got that: shoes, brand, imagery, highlights, pictures, aesthetics, etc.

You hear brands/teams and keywords like "Bulls", "hangtime", etc. you think of Jordan.

Dude even broke the record while his kids were in attendance wearing Jordan's.

Jordan can even come out and say LeBron is the better player and it wouldn't change anything.
