You mean when Bron was playing the first 2 rounds of the playoffs vs teams with losing records in the Eastern Conference playoffs for most of his career?
what does a losing record have to do with the level of talent in the league?

Them lil nikkas wouldn't be allowed in my house no mo
Yup its the shoes, the commercials, dream team, the classic moments, the tongue no homo, the bald head with one earring. Most popular christmas movie is Home alone and MJ is in it
The on court aesthetics as well. The layup package, the jumper, the fade, rhythm dribbles. Allat shyt just look dope AF when MJ do it. Bron shyt low-key be kinda stiff and got some jank to it.
Real OGs take Wilt and Kareem over Jordan.

Jordan is a product of ‘90s Gen-Xers and millennials who grew up on Nickelodeon and pizza rolls.
Fair enough, lol
Being from Chicago, my love for MJ goes without saying, but even I can admit that Lebron faced better competition overall.
True. Not to mention, they weren't consistently giving MJ dogshyt rosters to play with.

The fact it ain't universally accepted LeBron the top dog the second he broke that record means he ain't the top dog. Sports/life is funny like that. It's never all about the numbers. It'd be easier if it was.

Jordan is simply too rooted in popular culture to not be the sport's defacto icon.

The more connections to something = the more memorable. That's scientific fact.

Jordan got that: shoes, brand, imagery, highlights, pictures, aesthetics, etc.

You hear brands/teams and keywords like "Bulls", "hangtime", etc. you think of Jordan.

Dude even broke the record while his kids were in attendance wearing Jordan's.

Jordan can even come out and say LeBron is the better player and it wouldn't change anything.

The reason why basketball culture looks the way it does today is because of Michael Jordan, who still owns the record by a long shot for NBA Finals ratings.

Low key a pointless debate really.

I mean another failure of a year possibly not making the post season, not dominating his peers in a weak no defense league
How this continues to be a debate boggles my mind
Jordan played most of his career in a weak league:dead:

Lost to real comp in the 80s and won in the 1990s when the league expanded a million times. Not to mention Bron's 38.. Ya'll didn't care about Wizards Jordan missing the playoffs in the weak ass east :mjlol:

Good experiment:

1. Google search "LeBron" and click on images.
2. Google Search "Jordan" and click on images.

That's what transcending the sport looks like.

Bro I thought Wilt was dunking on dudes left and right but he was actually shooting lights out

Phil Jackson is on record stating that Wilt was the first to use the fadeaway as a regular part of his arsenal.

Wilt, in my opinion, is one of the most underrated athletes in sports history.

League was expanding when Detroit and LA were winning in the 80s (not just when Jordan was winning). Do your Googles. Acting like LeBron was beating world beaters in the Leastern Conference - that term was implemented during Bron's watch.

I’m starting to believe that too
