I know these arent your traditional tattoos, but these are getting popular too. all forms of tattoos what type of situation would make you get one ?

These are all ritualistic and tribal, they have actual meaning and are not adorned for vane aesthetic reasons only. That is the difference between traditional scarification and markings, and the tat parlour garbage..these were probably done by village elders at no charge..

For me it would have to be the death of one of my kids to get me to consider getting a tattoo. I just don't like em. I watch tattoo shows and respect the craftsmanship and the artistry but once they are on people it doesn't look right to me.

Got one at 18....I'm 35 now. Haven't had the urge or want to do it again.

Plus, that ish permanent and what is so damn important to ink it to my body forever?

The women posted did nothing (to me) for the argument. They look (again, to me) ridiculous and ruin that beautiful skin and tone for some goofy
tats that they got b/c "everybody else doing it..." Not a good argument to me...

I unno, maybe I'm just getting old and conservative. My sis has like 20 and her husband is tatted all over :yeshrug: they swore I'd be wanting more (it's contagious!), but I don't do what everybody else does

The time I wanted to get one was between my 17-21 y/o years. I never could decide what I wanted. It never even crosses my mind to get one now though :manny:

My wife: Would you get my name tattooed on you?
Me: nah:pachaha:
My wife: Why not? :usure:
Me: because tattoos are permanent :steviej:
My wife: I cant with you right now

sounds like you are considering it.

im too old now but if it meant saving someones life or something then thats the only way i would get a tattoo. as a fan of the arts, i think they look good but its a brave and bold individual that gets one.

i disagree....at least in most cases

from what i see especially today....its mostly followers getting them..

just look at the bullshyt most people have tatted on them.....most of them look like they went to the artist and picked some shyt out that book they have sitting in there

i have no desire to write something on my body forever....
