Never could get with the permanence of a tattoo
And they expensive, I would rather buy clothes with that kind of money
I can always switch up my style as I grow and my tastes change
Couldn’t imagine having some corny shyt I thought of at sixteen stuck on my body years later

I know these arent your traditional tattoos, but these are getting popular too. all forms of tattoos what type of situation would make you get one ?
I avoid doing anything that i see everyone doing just to hop on a trend to be cool. I dont know. When i see everyone doing the same thing it becomes less appealing to me. :yeshrug:
  • I had dreads or many years then saw everyone and their mama get them. I eventually cut mines 12 years ago.
  • I used to travel constantly for work and pleasure. And by that i mean i would be in the U.S. a combined (maybe) 5 weeks out of the year back then. Starting around 2014 everyone and their mama started showing off about traveling. I still do but i keep it low-key.
  • I wanted to get a tattoo back in the late 90s and early 2000s and then i started to see them everywhere... i changed my mind about getting it over that + another reason.

I seen manyof those when i went to Africa. Didnt know they were considered "tattoos". I assumed they were tribal markings because i saw them on women that were very very young like 12 or 13 y/o

you are correct but its branched under body modification.

used to be to identify the child when they are young but yeah its an african thing that has been adopted now, i dont like it at all. my great grandmother on my fathers side had them, little ones to the sides of her face. :wow:
