Screenplay by the Coen brothers (and some other dude) as well, but I dunno. It didn't connect with me with its trailers either but it's actually a pretty good movie.

The Martian was cool I give it a 7.5- 8
Hateful 8 was too long to be that dialog driven, we didn't need 2.5 hours to tell that story, but the last hour or so was very entertaining.. 7-7.5
Concussion was slow as fukk and will smiths Nigerian accent was wierd, why not jut get an actual African? But it was very informative on the concussions issues.. 6.5-7
Creed was what it should of been, it felt like a sequel to a 30 year old movie and not just a cash grab.. I liked it a lot 8.5-9
P.S. This isn't screener related but I hear a lot of people praise mad max, and I don't get it at all,I watched that movie and at no point could I really get into it.. I normally don't care what people like but it irks me that so many so called movie fans and critics have this as their movie of the year and I just don't get it? Maybe I had to see the old one to get it

Well, it was partly rewritten by that other dude but that's one of the reasons the trailers don't really do the movie justice because like most Coen screenplays there's a lot of dry humor in it and for some reason they left that out of the marketing completely, even though it's almost more humorous than it's suspenseful.

you should watch the road warrior and beyond the thunderdome at least. the first mad max was pretty boring though.
the new one was on point and gets a lot of credit because the cgi is minimal.
shyt even my girlfriend was at the edge of her seat the whole time.

Yeah i'm with you there. It just came off as a high budget 2 hour car chase to me. They didnt really get me interested in any of the character until maybe half way thru and by then it was too late for me. It was visually stunning but thats not enough sometimes.
