@Koichos

while I maintain this thought, let me ask you:

what would a man be if he was born with limitless perception and understanding. And that it was fixed (like the paper). if those considerations were not consumptive or in motion how could they influence the way you consider the world as you live through it? :jbhmm:

to me getting rid of it was important because of its implication

In short, I think kabballah is interesting but it is a shackle on understanding that limits a man's consideration greatly. This dialogue makes me consider this biblical passage

"Not a woman
Not a man
Am something that you never understand "
The cockatrice was first mentioned in the Bible in Isaiah chapters 11, 14 and 59. It is described in its current form in the late fourteenth century.

The Oxford English Dictionary gives a derivation from Old French cocatris, from medieval Latin calcatrix, a translation of the Greek ichneumon, meaning tracker. The twelfth century legend was based on a reference in Pliny's Natural History[1] that the ichneumon lay in wait for the crocodile to open its jaws for the trochilus bird to enter and pick its teeth clean.[2] An extended description of the cocatriz by the 15th-century Spanish traveller in Egypt, Pedro Tafur, makes it clear that this refers to the Nile crocodile.[3]

According to Alexander Neckam's De naturis rerum (ca 1180), the basilisk (basiliscus) was the product of an egg laid by a rooster and incubated by a toad; a snake might be substituted in re-tellings. Cockatrice became seen as synonymous with basilisk when the basiliscus in Bartholomeus Anglicus' De proprietatibus rerum (ca 1260) was translated by John Trevisa as cockatrice (1397).[4] This legend has a possible Egyptian folk root; the eggs of the ibis were regularly destroyed for fear that the venom of the snakes they consumed would cause a hybrid snake-bird to hatch.[5]

It is thought that a cock egg would hatch out as a cockatrice, and this could be prevented by tossing the egg over the family house, landing on the other side of the house, without allowing the egg to hit the house.

im glad you replied to this!

Officially it is because the diagram was linked to celestial bodies and the assumption of the other person I was discussing it with was one that I did not like. I created it because of a theory I had about the planet Uranus and that it originally was a larger planet that consisted of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto and the various moons as well. The reasoning being is that Uranus is the only planet whose pole is perpendicular to the sun in the solar system. While its magnetic field is wobbling...Like a switch of sorts. Please observe so you can understand why it is so unusual (the yellow arrow points towards the sun, the blue arrow is the magnetic north):
PIA23683.gif

Before the arrival of Voyager 2, no measurements of the Uranian magnetosphere had been taken, so its nature remained a mystery. Before 1986, scientists had expected the magnetic field of Uranus to be in line with the solar wind, because it would then align with Uranus's poles that lie in the ecliptic.[108]

Voyager's observations revealed that Uranus's magnetic field is peculiar, both because it does not originate from its geometric centre, and because it is tilted at 59° from the axis of rotation.[108][109] In fact the magnetic dipole is shifted from Uranus's centre towards the south rotational pole by as much as one third of the planetary radius.[108] This unusual geometry results in a highly asymmetric magnetosphere, where the magnetic field strength on the surface in the southern hemisphere can be as low as 0.1 gauss (10 µT), whereas in the northern hemisphere it can be as high as 1.1 gauss (110 µT).[108] The average field at the surface is 0.23 gauss (23 µT).[108] Studies of Voyager 2 data in 2017 suggest that this asymmetry causes Uranus's magnetosphere to connect with the solar wind once a Uranian day, opening the planet to the Sun's particles.[110] In comparison, the magnetic field of Earth is roughly as strong at either pole, and its "magnetic equator" is roughly parallel with its geographical equator.[109] The dipole moment of Uranus is 50 times that of Earth.[108][109] Neptune has a similarly displaced and tilted magnetic field, suggesting that this may be a common feature of ice giants.[109] One hypothesis is that, unlike the magnetic fields of the terrestrial and gas giants, which are generated within their cores, the ice giants' magnetic fields are generated by motion at relatively shallow depths, for instance, in the water–ammonia ocean.[76][111] Another possible explanation for the magnetosphere's alignment is that there are oceans of liquid diamond in Uranus's interior that would deter the magnetic field.

If you search other planets their fields are much more stable and their poles are oriented largely in the same direction.

From my perspective, the magnetic field of the sun is so strong that the magnetic fields of the planets are aligned and possibly even generated by the sun. Why is Uranus so unusual then with its wobble?

The diagram I created was to explain how the current arrangement of the planets could fit into my concept of kabbalah at the time. The planets that are on the remnant are the ones closest to the sun. EDIT I just went and looked at it, I burnt the entire diagram :pachaha: I made a separate design on a strip of paper that included those sephiroth which was a remnant. Technically NEPTUNE is the only remnant. What I believed it specifically represented will remain a mystery.
There's a beautiful teaching regarding the ten s'firοt as it relates to one's fetal position that I may share (with permission) after shabbat.

Well, I certainly hope not.

this kanye story is overblown and alittle crazy!
Once as a young boy I naïvely asked my grandfather why we had to adopt such an extreme position on antisemitism and if it would kill us, just for once, to be a little more moderate, a little more 'middle of the road'; the answer I got was that only a בְּהֵמָה b'heimah walks in the middle of the road - human beings invariably walk on one side or the other. 'All of Yissraʾel is responsible one for another', you see.

Hardly. I suggest you read that post more carefully.

are you so sure...

Exodus 1:7-10
7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:

10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.
There is wisdom in Genesis that is not found in the other books of Moses.

EDIT while on this same topic

Now this Workman saw that the asses of Peasant were pleasing in his eyes, and he thought, "Oh that some good god might let grant me steal away the goods of Peasant from him!"
Said Peasant, "I am going carefully; this high field of grain is not my choice, but you have blocked the path with your clothes. Will you then not let us pass by the side of the path?"

Meanwhile, one of the asses filled its mouth with a handful of grain.

Said Workman, "Look you, I shall take away your ass, peasant, for eating my grain; it will have to pay according to the amount of the injury."

God was supposedly a woman but They gave females periods, made them weaker than men and made then have to endure pregnancy and childbirth
:mjlol:

It's crazy because EVERY MONTH they're upset and annoyed about their period and having to deal with it.

limited in the sense of the word, but maybe not limited in other senses

IE God made man with senses to sense the world...which we think we know to have some limitations compared to other animals...are you sure that because we cannot sense other parts of reality that our experience is limited only to what we sense? Limit and tangibility are assumptions based on our sense which are in feedback with what we believe about our sense...

one of the big problems I have with gnostic beliefs is the constant negative declarations about the tangible world. Does it ever make sense that if God made the world with speech that the world is affected by speech? So if you say something is bad/negative it is at least witnessed by one observer outside of yourself.

it could be argued that woman gave herself periods, exactly why that is isnt clear.

does this mean "heifer" or female behemoth? :obama:i have navigated many bheimah if that is the case

EDIT - just so that I can possibly help you see what I mean (the horizon between Genesis and Exodus) I have delved into your Gemara to help you
from Sanhedrin 107b

Yehoshua ben Peraḥya understood the message, arose, came, and happened to arrive at a certain inn on the way to Jerusalem. They treated him with great honor. Yehoshua ben Peraḥya said: How beautiful is this inn. Jesus, his student, said to him: But my teacher, the eyes of the innkeeper’s wife are narrow [terutot]. Yehoshua ben Peraḥya said to him: Wicked one! Do you involve yourself with regard to that matter, the appearance of a married woman? He produced four hundred shofarot and ostracized him.
Jesus came before Yehoshua ben Peraḥya several times and said to him: Accept our, i.e., my, repentance. Yehoshua ben Peraḥya took no notice of him. One day Yehoshua ben Peraḥya was reciting Shema and Jesus came before him with the same request. Yehoshua ben Peraḥya intended to accept his request, and signaled him with his hand to wait until he completed his prayer. Jesus did not understand the signal and thought: He is driving me away. He went and stood a brick upright to serve as an idol and he bowed to it. Yehoshua ben Peraḥya then said to Jesus: Repent. Jesus said to him: This is the tradition that I received from you: Whoever sins and causes the masses to sin is not given the opportunity to repent. And the Master says: Jesus performed sorcery, incited Jews to engage in idolatry, and led Israel astray. Had Yehoshua ben Peraḥya not caused him to despair of atonement, he would not have taken the path of evil.

the keywords to consider "the innkeepers wife's eyes were narrow" :jbhmm: why would Yehoshua's speech entice the innkeepers wife?

Now why do you think it says in Exodus 1: "Now there arose a Pharaoh(Great House or House of a Great One) that did not know Joseph"?

Not every "King of Egypt" claimed to be a "Pharaoh" in fact, the proper title is nswt bjtj which means "He who belongs to the Sedge and Bee". Thats why in Genesis there is mention either during or after the time of Nimrod that the "Osirian" cult started in Egypt, meaning there was a different belief prior to this (atleast from Genesis account)

Remember Josephs "wife" who is a priestess of "On" (aka Pithom)
Asenath (/ˈæsɪnæθ/, Hebrew: אָסְנַת‎, Modern: ʾŎsnát, Tiberian: ʾĀsnaṯ;[4] Koine Greek: Ασενέθ, Asenéth) is a minor figure in the Book of Genesis. Asenath was a high-born, aristocratic Egyptian woman.[5] She was the wife of Joseph and the mother of his sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. There are two Rabbinic approaches to Asenath: One holds that she was an ethnic Egyptian woman that converted to marry Joseph. This view has her accepting the Lord before marriage and then raising her two sons in the tenets of Judaism. This presents her as a positive example of conversion, and places her among the devout women converts. The other approach argues she was not Egyptian by descent, but was from the family of Jacob. Traditions that trace her to the family of Jacob relate that she was born as the daughter of Dinah. Dinah was raped by Shechem and gave birth to Asenath, whom Jacob left on the wall of Egypt, where she was later found by Potiphar. She was then raised by Potiphar's wife and eventually married Joseph.[6][7]
and If you remember, Joseph went to his father Jacob and had him bless his sons Ephraim and Manasseh

When it says "Moses rose up and struck an Egyptian who was smiting a Hebrew" how sure are you which Egyptian is being talked about?

This phrase sums up my meditations on this subject and I hope you consider it
"Ni De Aqui, Ni De Alla"
