Firstly, 'After Earth' is a dope movie, secondly Jaden is a solid actor and third nothing wrong with a Father helping his son. CACs have been doing that kind of shyt for centuries. 
This Will Smith+Jaden Hate is ridiculous.

I could give two fukks about Will Smith trying to help his son's acting career; if I was one of the biggest stars in the world I'd be doing the same thing as Will.
That being said, After Earth is not a good movie and most of that as to do Jaden not having nearly enough screen presence to carry this movie and make no mistakes, this is Jaden Smith's movie. Little man is onscreen by his lonesome for the majority of the picture and the results are not good.

Seems like the butthurt ones are these people who keep putting up threads defending their boy Will. Fresh Prince put out a bad movie; it happens. Don't gotta be all defensive about it.
Nobody cares that father and son "get along" in a sci-fi movie. People just want to be entertained, and the movie wasn't entertaining.

Saw it yesterday.
Real talk, it wasn't bad.
The acting was cool for the most part, and one tense scene really made me believe in the little Smith.
It didn't have high ambitions, but my main issue was the spotty cg in a few spots.
It really doesn't deserve the backlash its getting right now. By any measure.
It ain't anywhere near Battlefield Earth or things like that.

I think Jaden is getting the most hate. Even in interviews that have nothing to do with his acting people are saying they don't like him
Its one thing to not care for the film but, to say you don't like him when you don't know him is crazy.

People hate Jaden and Willow because of Hollywood nepotism...but if you were one of the highest grossing actors of all time your kids would be put on too. 
People hate Will because he doesn't identify with traditional african-american family values and roles such as being a Christian and having an open marriage with Jada.

I DON'T SEE A PROBLEM WITH WILL PUTTING HIS SON ON. I THINK HE SHOULD GIVE HIS KIDS A SHOT IF HE CAN. IF I WERE IN HIS POSITION I WOULD GIVE MY SON A LEG UP IN THE GAME TOO.

White actors have been putting their families on the forefront of Hollywood for ages, so I have no problem with Will doing the same thing with his family. The more minorities that are able to do this the better.

Jaden Smith has been in a whopping 4 movies and he's only been the lead actor in two of them.
And it's not even just Jaden people were really going in on Willow for a minute too. It really does kind of stink of jealousy or something. It's not like they're being shoved down anybodies throats, they're not constantly in trouble, they don't come across as arrogant or anything IMO.
It just seemed like right around the time Karate Kid went into production some people just up and decided to dislike those kids.

Nothing wrong with a father helping his son out, that aside the movie looks generic and M. Night directed it, so its a no go for me.
