nah i ain't gon hold you that was me. don't post here much but in 2019 i was on this thing where i was saying while he's not more talented or better all time, that kawhi is a better player than lebron james right now. and not only that i had him as the best player in the league period. was it a prisoner of the moment thing? nah i honestly believed that and am still low key a bit surprised that he has not been playing up to snuff. definitely not to the standard i saw under pop & nurse that led to those bold claims from me

shout out to @murksiderock who told me i was wildin. lol he was 100% right, i have to be accountable here

Down Under
2 DPOY 2 Rings 2 finals MVP should have an MVP but the league was all on steph nuts.

First ballot HOF. I know its fun to talk shyt but the reality is nobody gives a fukk about him failing to win a ring with the clippers cause its the fukking clippers. If God himself came down and suited up for the clippers he would blow a 3-1 lead.

What year was this? :jbhmm:

This one game likely doesn't do anything for his career, unless its a watershed performance that leads them back to win the series, or a watershed performance on the other end of the spectrum that hastens their elimination in a sweep...

So this game doesn't mean anything, but this series does, and more importantly, his time in LA, however long it is, is gonna have a huge bearing on how he's looked at in retrospect down the line. He needs to win a title in LA. Thats what he was brought here for, thats what the expectations were. If he doesn't even come close to a championship its gonna reflect on him poorly, particularly given all the leaked news on his behind-the-scenes arrogance and general nonchalance compared to contemporaries of his who seemingly have more "drive" and "leadership"...

Shoulda never been compared to LeBron. Cats really in here saying the Toronto run solidified his legacy but LeBron has done that multiple times to an even greater degree than '19 Kawhi and yall still find ways to discredit and disrespect his legacy...

What games are you watching?

LeBron plays the game at a different speed than maybe anyone ever. What he's doing right now is purposeful and orchestrated, and isn't something new for him. He's helping bridge confidence, comraderie and cohesion with a team that played without key pieces for half the season. He's picking his spots, at this point in the series he doesn't need to go nuclear, he knows this and knows building everyone else's confidence up will pay dividends in later rounds when the stakes get higher...

Scottie Pippen in no lifetime could do what Bron has shown thru 3 games so far. Where alot of yall view Bron as having fallen off, praying for it, and to be fair I do think he's still working on his recovery from the ankle, what's really going on us he's able to gradually ramp up while conserving energy and building chemistry with the squadn...
1 thing for certain 2 fasho you & @Rhakim will find any topic to bring Bron in :russ:

You’d make great fall guys

Bro I don't think you can be objective about Bron. You playing semantics and mental gymnastics as to how and why AD has been the driving force for them thus far. You can't even just give him his props straight up without spinning it to glorify LeBron... speaking on that man as if this is his first playoffs or something :heh:. Like dude AD doesn't need a confidence boost man, he was the co-star in the movie just last year.

Bron is gonna pick it up no doubt, but as of presently he has been getting carried and playing the Scottie Pippen to AD's Jordan role. What is confusing you about that? Just watch the games.

And to tie it back in to my original post, Kawhi doesn't have that luxury this playoff...hence op bringing up Bron as a comparison isn't even a fair one. Kawhi has been tasked with more this postseason
I dunno breh if you think AD is doing more than Lebron then you ain’t watching deeply enough. Lebron facilitating the first three Qs, getting guys comfortable then taking over when he needs to. He’s clearly pacing himself for the benefit of the team

If the Bron comparison were to hold true his legacy is cool as long as he continues to put up pretty stats in a losing effort... The "needs more help" rule would be applied and PG would have his status as a star reduced retroactively like Wade, Bosh, Love

Lol wow are y'all dudes kidding me man? Is he pacing himself? Yes
But in no way is he doing more than AD. Neither offensively nor defensively.

I would hate to be a sidekick of this dude LeBron. It's like no matter how much you do, your efforts will still get diminished. And when y'all lose, all the heat is coming your way.
This dude has averaged 34 and 10.5 rebounds his last two games while being the quarterback of the defense and it's still a question of if he's done the most. That is just amazing to me man .
