So being cognisant of the process of superposition whilst observing it actually breaks the process of superposition?

Yeah I think so, because the process would end up as whatever you heard it the observer measured it as, not necessarily as it Truly-Is. I think their experiment kinda like made some photons break entanglement and that meant, because they influenced the breaking of the superposition, that the superposition never existed.

:hubie: im a biologist tho

I literally was thinking about the importance of perspective and how it relates to time. Whose clock is correct? Is there a clock? We see time in a linear physical form but what if there are other ways to view/deal with time? I love the life is short phrase. I’ve never felt that life is short but I do believe nostalgia and memories can present such a physical feeling that it can take you to the past and recreate feelings that have been long gone from your mind. Sometimes I’ll be living in a good moment and I’ll say to myself “this is a good moment, future you will look back and smile”. I know I will based on past experiences but is there a connection between present me and future me? I have so many thoughts but I’m always all over the place, lol.

How about when the lack of human understanding devolves into religion? What does that equation look like?

Equally if not more questionable. Most if not all of the sciences and mathematics is based on the core assumption that we do - or can - understand everything we observe.

The human flaw is so built into everything we touch.

I remember reading an article that explained that dogs don’t view time as we do. Basically time is just one very long day to them.

Man, I figured this out years ago.

There are multiple universes.

In each universe the dude's cat is "alive" or "dead"

At the quantum level each of the dude's cats "shares" it's particles with a cat in another universe.

that’s pretty interesting. Night and day, changing of seasons and revolving around the sun are great indicators of time for us. But what about places without a sun? Just because we cannot understand such a place doesn’t mean there isn’t one. What if the absence of a sun is the norm for “life”. It’s a norm for us but what if we aren’t the norm? Thinking about our place in the known universe/ self awareness can be so overwhelming but also calming.
