But he's right though this place has fallen off a bit. I even slowed up on visiting this section for a minute and noticed threads from like 3 weeks ago still on the first page...

But I think most of it has too do with people's work / school schedule changing....

but for seriously if the section doesnt get an influx of people, it should slow down, cuz most people who have been in hear already know wtf they need to do, so either they doit it, plateau then ask more questions, or dont and continue being fat or frail :manny:

actually i just missed this section and wanted to check up on everyobody

but i figured most of us already have our routine and know what we need to know and the newbies may just have life get in the way because its kind of hard to instill a fitness discipline if its not something that is ingrained in your lifestyle so some people might not make it past a month when they are new. It also doesn't help that especially male fitness models they see give them a false sense of what is possible because they are chemically enhanced and went beyond their potential...but don't get me wrong even fitness models who juice have to work hard...but most of us normal people can attain a really ripped body if we choose to go the slim route and focus on the right areas to enhance

and like KrackdaGawd said its bulking season as well

i might just post fitness articles here and there to keep the discussions lively because there is always new research and trends in the fitness industry to discuss

and yes training is a lot simpler than most people make it out to be...i only lift twice a week, if your diet is on point you can get ripped and have an attractive body

if you are obsessed with being perfect though you might have to go to steroidology.com but there is too much expertise needed to be guided safely in that realm and to do it right requires a big budget and unless you have a modeling contract and have to be symmetrically perfect don't bother with roids

New guy ...recently joined...in all honesty this section of the forum was thought out to be my initial sanctuary.. But like OP said this place is quite tumble weed dead like how Nas proclaimed Hiphop was.... dead as in in comparison to other sections of the forum...nevertheless I've dropped several gems in here as far as advice goes & will continue to do so here & there....but yeh the place does seem lacklustre of individual rearing to hit the gym hard on all fours!

not really much to post. once you get a routine and knowledge which comes fast your all set. plus i realized working out to really not listen to anyone else and listen to your own body because i do exercises that help more more others or exercises people may think are not needed.

only so much you can post about doing reps

Fitness section has always calmed down in the fall. Beginning of the year thru mid summer brings in activity.

Heavily active posters seem to be a "generational" thing, also. Like, you touch on the same topics with a bunch of different people and eventually fall back while the next crop of new comers step up. I remember @diggy , @SkiHatDaGawd , and @andre patton consistently dropped info back in the day. There was a time I had like 30 posts/day dedicated to the fitness section. @krackdagawd @Serious @semtex @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! ... we all had a stints. @MMSex closed out SOHH then just took the reins over here. Now you see ppl like @The ADD and the new guy @Exiled Martian carrying the torch.

I lurk here. Post here and there. It has gotten quieter in recent times.

I guess if there's any time to take off gym it's either now for beginners. It will pick up in the new year. I might start a thread on my general progress.

Not sure what I expect to find, but I check in daily.

I have a diet & body weight exercise routine that I tweak every 4-6 weeks. Not much to say about it.

I'm sure there will be an influx from New Year's through the spring.
