I'm going to assume most of the coli is flabby and sick as well

this place gets like maybe 5-6 posts a day...i remember when it first started so many people were so motivated to get in shape and show their progress...this place is tumbleweed status now

unless all the people who started are now build like Greek Gods and thus don't need each other's advice

I think at the end of the day there's always going to be people who claim they want it, give it a try, and realize they don't want it enough to deal with the necessity of a nutritious diet, consistent heavy lifting, and - in the case of the overweight - intense cardio.

I also feel a lot of people, like myself, tend to just lurk this section and take in information rather than contribute. I don't think this fitness game is all that deep :manny:. Understand what you need to do, stick to it, and see results. It's not a complex science IMO, so unless you're obsessed with exercise - something most people on this website cannot claim to be - you aren't going to see a shyt ton of posts and new threads. People kinda just keep to themselves and do their thing.

I check here every day though.

:patrice: nah b some of us grinding on the daily. Lifting is very cathartic for me and I personally find it fun as hell. You get the people who truly love it and keep up with it, and you get the new years resolution people who try it every once and while for a little bit only to realize they don't give a fukk and aren't doing it for the right reasons.

It's the kind of thing where you ultimately have to be your own best personal trainer

Its the same cycle really. You get a crop of new posters trying to get started, people respond and encourage them and they either keep it up or they go quiet. Others like me (humbly) @Rawtid have fell into the routine and are just trying to keep going :manny:

@semtex hits some new demonic lift every few weeks, @GinaThatAintNoDamnPuppy! switches programs every few weeks, @ocmfII is still getting his shoulder back in order. The updates are there but we know a lot about each other training wise so its not dissertations :manny:

I don't see ONE thread started by the OP in regards to anything fitness related except this one where he's complaining about the lack of content. If your workout/meals are so interesting, then post them. Most people are doing the same thing day in and day out for most part and don't feel the need to post everyday. Participation is up when people try new things or switch up routines or whatever and that's fine.

But he's right though this place has fallen off a bit. I even slowed up on visiting this section for a minute and noticed threads from like 3 weeks ago still on the first page...

But I think most of it has too do with people's work / school schedule changing....

its more indicative of how much the coli as a whole cares about fitness :ld: rather than the collective's actual in shapeness

this is still a sports/hip hop forum first

but realistically whats the point of this thread :usure:
