"This scene from The Matrix was way more powerful than the red pill/blue pill scene but y’all aren’t ready for that discussion."

Just rewatched the matrix couple weeks ago :blessed:

Tryna muster the courage to rewatch 2 and 3 :unimpressed:

The problem with the trilogy was the fact that the first movie was so good, that it honestly didn't need a sequel. Also, for the time Hollywood was trying to go for that Star Wars for the new generation steez, and thus the 2nd and 3rd movies were kinda mid.

IMO, the second and third movies each had a unique purpose to the series.

Reloaded was exploring the gateway to the matrix along with the world of the ones that were free from the system. While Revolutions focuses on the endgame to the Matrix and redemption of freedom from such a system.

On the real, there are layers to the movie that's pretty relatable to the current events. Everything from the stigma of working a 9 to 5, to being in this mundane world that dictates the direction you need to go.

After a while, you may want to unplug and see the truth for yourself. Thus why the Matrix Trilogy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

It was a cultural game changer. That’s why when I hear morons call it overrated, they either weren’t alive when it came out or they just want to be “different.”

One of the most parodied movies from the red and blue pills, bullet time slow motion, the music, etc. And it was perfect timing coming out in 1999 during the whole fear of “Y2K”.
Another note, In 1999 everyone was waiting for the new Star Wars film, The Phantom Menace, to drop which was the first SW film since the original trilogy. It had tons and tons of hype and marketing behind it. Well The Matrix dropped in March, two months before Phantom Menace, and made Phantom Menace look like child's play, washed, and woefully behind the times. You couldn't even look at it the same. It bodied the sh*t outta Star Wars.

One of the greatest film experiences ever:wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: Mind you the trailer spoiler the iconic bullet scene and it was still fire:wow::wow::wow::wow:
True, but you didn't really know what we were seeing during the trailer. Then the movie dropped and the opening scene with Trinity and the cops :lupe::gladbron::wow: You knew right then and there you were in for a treat and some next level new sh*t:ohlawd:

Epic to say the least. There was nothing like The Matrix when it came out and it left stains on the brain that made you want more. The trailers were just enough to pull you in without giving away the entire movie. 1st 3 movies did huge numbers down to the soundtrack and Animatrix versions. Fell off after that.
