To be honest, none of this matters anymore. The Supreme Court will be conservative for generations, so they can strike down anything progressive or non racist. Too little too late.

Republicans are expected to keep the house, so Trump will have complete control of all three branches of government.

By the time a new progressive Democrat candidate comes around, so many rights will be rolled back, so much harmful legislation will be passed and so many right wing ideologues will have packed the courts so much that it'll be impossible for Dems to fix, and then they'll get blamed for not fixing it, another fascist will get elected after them, and we'll be right back where we are now.

This also is something that dawned on me in the middle of it all. If Trump can say all of that and still get voted in overwhelmingly by white folks and latinos, the courts and public sentiment says tangibles are a non-starter. Demand things? Cool, court the others. We have been marginalized in a public way.
