Ok, you like his tankie analysis of politics. Doesn’t make it real or meaningful. Still a Hesbollah and Houthi supporting nepo baby. Him saying Dems shoulda do this or that don’t mean shyt in terms of votes. You have no electoral victories on your end to prove his analysis right. All your progressive candidates got washed and America voted for project 25.
Yeah Republicans voters gas you up and give you some atta boys but that’s because they hate Dems too and love that you take votes away from Dems.
Adin Ross vs Hasan Piker 2028.
I already said I couldn't care less about your personal hang ups, so I'm just going to ignore them from now on. Ditto for you trying to personalize the debate or pull out strawmen. I'm willing to discuss substance and learn though.
About progressive electoral victories, that's not true. The main progressive candidates won their reelection, didn't they? Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, AOC, Bernie Sanders, etc all won.
The policies they support poll well across the board too if I'm not mistaken.
Why were they absent from the agenda?
It doesn't all fall on her; many progressive issues should have been an integral part of the Democratic platform in my opinion and whatever agenda she proposed should have had years of groundwork on which to rely.
But it seems to me the Democratic party has no real direction besides a profound love for neoliberalism and imperialism. They don't offer anything else than a status quo folks are sick of. So they find themselves in a situation where they see no other choice but to concede on many issues like immigration for example.
If you look at other western countries, the record is clear; that never works. The far-right always comes out on top. The French left figured that out.
