This thread is exposing alot of people's knowledge on fitness. For the record though, definition does not equal strength. And :scusthov: at anyone thinking that rookie pic of them is "ripped".

:comeon: It's obvious Melo aint fat and it's just stupid to compare any player to Lebron physically, it's just one part of what makes him an anomaly. Having good cardio does not equate to muscle definition so the stupid 4th qtr comments can get thrown in the bushes. nikkas pulling muscles reaching for ways to shyt on players.

His post game is already up there if you ask me. He just needs a little more strength so people cant easily force him out of the blocks. Beef up like Jordan did in his last few years. Even if he has to become a PF in the process. If not strengthen his legs so he can finish stronger at the basket instead of hoping for contact and foul calls.

Right now i'd take Melo's post game over 80%t players in the NBA's post game. He just needs to use it more than he does now. But he sometimes gets comfortable outside

He does get comfortable outside but that's because he drives and feels like he doesn't get calls . His post game is good but I watch every Knicks game which I doubt you do he gets blocked down low way too much and misses bunnies working with Kareem would give him even more options to the point he could be almost unstoppable on the block

'Melo is over-rated but 'definition' means little. If you have a slight amount of fat your arms won't look 'defined.' He's still fatter than he should be though.

Melo is obviously strong because you see the lower body/core power & balance he has when posting up. He just doesn't hit the weights that get him defined.

Also, he'd probably look slimmer on the court if he didn't wear that bulletproof vest thing

And finally, Lebron & Wade have done HGH. Melo obviously has not. :lolbron:

There are some who no matter what they do will ever get that fully ripped body at the gym. Just the way it works out for some, Melo might be just like that.

Shaq would get "in shape" to the point where he wasnt obviously overweight but dude was never "ripped" and had great "definition". Pretty much like Barkely was hsi whole career. But they could never get ripped like Malone and David Robinson. Again, different body types.

It may be unfair for me to bring Malone into this because he was a workout freak damn near on Jerry Rice's level some would say but you see my point.

That's a 380lbs man, he was in great shape, not ripped but clearly lifted.
