Coming from a guy whose favourite rapper is 2pac, I really dont see anything wrong with this clown. hip hop needs balance man. 90% of the time I only wanna hear real shyt. 10% of the time, I dont care whats being said, just wanna hear a dope beat....and every now and then I just wanna laugh...

I dont see him as intentionally trying to mock the culture.

NOBODY takes him seriously. you think he doesnt hear the laughs around him whenever he spits? or hell, whenever he speaks?

I think the key here, is being able to seperate the real shyt from the other shyt.

I think hes entertaining....lyrically hes so bad and all over the place with the shyt he says, its hilarious.

Figure this.....he has an album dropping 2013, he's signed to Diplo (who I honestly think is going to try to mold/fine-tune him some more before letting him drop that solo), building a buzz....by the time he drops I'd expect him to be a bit more polished.

Over the last several years, Diplo has been putting in a lot of work. Now granted his label projects arent going to do crazy numbers.....but he stays on his grind. Probably one of the reasons he's taking a chance on Riff Raff is because he grinds the same way.
