Yeah I agree, I don't know how a game 7 lakers game gets pushed back while a celtics vs sixers game gets 8:00pm prime time precedent. :wtf:

i hope it turns out to be a triple overtime buzzer-beater comeback win for the nuggets. and 10 years from now, we can get a 40 for 40 episode on it titled "the greatest game no one saw"

Stern has no idea what he is doing. Nuggets/Lakers should be an 8-9pm game.

If you are really pressed to get Celtics/Sixers on before that game, then put it on in the afternoon on ESPN or ABC.

The D (where it's so cold)
Afternoon on Sundays IS primetime for the NBA.

And the Heat are playing on Sunday rather than the Celtics/76ers because they (should) bring in better ratings.

Good point, looking back this has been traditionally start time for afternoon games. Still, if ESPN and TNT are so worried about their viewer rating stats it seems like the evening time slot would bring in more viewers. Afternoon games seem like they would get mixed results only the NFL can get away with that and that's because ALL their games generally start early afternoon. Most NBA games start early evening.

It was guaranteed that the Heat game would be on Sunday afternoon. They are the big draw in the league, so they get that 3:30 afternoon slot.

I do agree that the Laker game should have been tomorrow afternoon though. A Game 7 @ 10:30 makes no sense.
