In an interview once Kobe said that making your teammates better is not just about spoon feeding them the basketball on the 3 pt line. He said it is about "injecting your DNA" into them so they practice harder, play harder and step up more. He also said the real test of making his teammates better is watching how they perform when he is not there.
This is the difference between the MJ's Kobe's and Brons of the world.

I said it when Lebron was in Cleveland that it was difficult to build a team around him. People like to say that Cleveland failed to build a team around him (BS) but they tried to do the AI formula. They tried to get him high-energy guys, defenders and spot up shooters. It didn't work. They also tried to give him players that didn't need to the ball to score (Jamison) and that didn't work. It's not that different now, than it was then. Bosh has taken hella steps back,in allowing Wade and Lebron to do their thing. Lebron and Wade still don't play well off each other unless it's a break. They were just that much more #1 option talented than the other teams.

Bosh sucking is a biproduct of Wade being washed up, since he refuses to relinquish the number 2 spot on the team to Bosh and Spo doesn't have the balls to bring him off the bench or run offense through Bosh instead of Wade :ld:

Yeah Wade needs to take a seat. :camby:

I agree Bosh shoulda played a bigger role this season. But Bosh wasn't really getting off in all those games Wade missed. I mean he was playing aight but he definitely coulda made a stronger case for himself. But he's been formidable. Hit that GW against Portland, was that this year? :parice:

Anyway, that's why I'm intrigued by this Melo situation. With him as a secondary scorer, you know you have a guy who's thinking 40+ every time he steps on the court, so the offensive aggressiveness never lapses when LeBron decides to get his Magic Johnson on.

Wade is better suited to maybe replace Ray Allen as 6th man if he retires or shyt, even if he doesn't retire. I wouldn't be surprised if Riley brought in a Lance Stephenson or some other high profile 2 to replace his aging vets.

Lakers fans have nothing better to do than troll at this point of their worthless season

KG made his teammates better in Minnesota and didn't win shyt. He went to Boston and did any of their stats improve? No. Did he stop making teammates better?

Don't be fukking retarded. Kobe is what he is but he's never had a complete game like LeBron and never will. Even when LeBron ends up with 3 titles, you Kobe stans will only hold on to his rings. Enjoy the best basketball player you will see while he's playing. I don't see any vets taking smaller contracts to go play with Kobe, but for some reason, these guys got no problems taking less to play with Bron Bron. :troll:

How many players from the OP have done shyt since not playing with LeBron? Stop being ignorant and stay in a Lakers off season thread. You guys can start a petition not to amnesty bean or something.

Kobe does have a complete game wtf r u talking about he wasnt considered the best player in the leauge just couse of his scoring he can do it all

The Truth
Now lets look at the great Kobe Bryant. People have said for years he doesn't make his teammates better but heres a list of players who had career-best seasons as Kobe Bryant's teammate

Shaquille O'Neal (2000 regular season MVP)
Pau Gasol (2011 All-NBA Second Team)
Lamar Odom (2011 Sixth Man of the Year)
Sasha Vujacic (Career-high FG%, eighth in NBA in 3FG% in 2008)
Chris Mihm (Career-high RPG, FG% in 2005)
Brian Cook (Career-highs in PPG, RPG, FG% in 2006)
Chucky Atkins (Career-highs in PPG, RPG in 2005)
Slava Medvedenko (Career-highs in PPG, RPG in 2004)
Kwame Brown (Career-highs in BPG and FG%, second best PPG average in 2007)
Smush Parker (Career-highs in PPG, RPG, APG, SPG, FG% in 2006)

From Pau Gasol in particular who became an ALL NBA Player and whose efficiency in the RS and PS skyrockeyed with Kobe to Lamar odom who went from the best sixth man in basketball to literally one of the worst players in the NBA with the Mavs:yes: Also member trevor Ariza? What happened to Him since leaving Kobe?:snoop: And to think he was arguably the 3rd best player on the Lakers in the 09' Playoffs....

:ohhh:
