I wonder if modern kids will ever know the sheer joy of playing outside with friends, using their imaginations, drawing, exploring etc..

You can stare at a screen at any point in your life but this right here is what being a child was/is about.

Man I'm telling you.. early to mid 2000s was probably the last GOAT era. All Hip Hop/ill Community was pure fukkery. Chappelle show was at its peak. Kobe (RIP) and Shaq fukkery. The Neptune's were untouchable. Ps2/Xbox were dropping classics. Usher was the king. 50 cent had hip hop on lock. Nas and Jay Z beef. Crunk music. The Wire. The shield. The Boondocks.

Damn... we had so much in such a short space of time. I know I was enjoying life to the fullest during those years. It feels like everything went to shyt post 2010.

As you get older you learn to appreciate great moments while IN THE MOMENT.

So when we get a classic rap album in this era, or great songs, great creative art, I appreciate them.

Bc clearly like this thread shows, things change and you can only see it in retrospect usually
