Maybe im missing something here but that is kinda my point. When Tyson was moving towards "The Baddest Man on the Planet" Mike he was just a head hunter and his skills had diminshed. Kid Dynamite Tyson was Mike at his best. That Tyson would have demolished "TBMOTP" Tyson and subsequently Holyfield and Buster.

All I can do is speculate but I believe Tyson should have in fact progressed as a fighter! After Cus died and Rooney started losing his influence with Mike he wasnt dedicated to craft anymore and was living off his hype and was listening to what the snakes around him were saying.

im not faulting Tyson for beating who was in front of him, I just dont agree with the notion that he beats all the great HWs in history. I dont think he beats Lennox in their primes, and I dont think he beats Vitali either. He didnt beat Holyfield. The only 90s HW star he beats is Riddikk Bowe, imo because Bowe was scared of dude.

I can't find the source, but I remember reading a quote by one of his doctors/trainers about how Iron Mike was a "genetic freak" and how his body and metabolism was machine like. For some reason that always stuck with me.

In regards to his actual career, obviously an all-time great, even with the relatively short peak. With that said, I actually agree that Holyfield would have given him problems at any point in his career. Lewis woulda got knocked out (And hell, maybe came back strong in a rematch like he usually did), but Evander had the tools and disposition to give him fits. Shame that there fights came after all the prison stuff.

The Douglas fight was some bullshyt. These niccas didn't even have the proper equipment to deal with cuts and bruises.... Mike was over there fukkin' Jap hoes not even givin' a single fukk about the fight....

I'm glad that he appears to have gotten his life in order. Heard about him losing a daughter a couple of years ago...she accidentally hung herself on a power cord of a treadmill....
