Not only would America lose revenue and have massive deficits under that proposal, but inflation would be rampant due to tariffs raising the prices of goods imported into the USA. Then American companies would have a harder time selling goods in foreign markets because foreign governments are going to place tariffs on American exported goods in retaliation for America placing tariffs on foreign imported goods. Hello depression. Hello to a majority of the of the Country living in poverty.
