Almost every year you have some light skin as your #1 and most years you're wrong. Even in football you continuously bet on piss colored people, and are proven wrong. The only piss colores QB worth anything ever is Dak Prescott and hes unusual.

I was hyping Thon Maker last year. He's the farthest thing from light skin.

Thread backfire. :mjlol:

FWIW, I didn't watch much of Fultz last year but his measureables are good(height, wingspan, hand size) and he looks explosive with good body control in the half-court. I think he'll do great. I like him much better than D'Angelo at the 2 guard that's for sure.

Actually his physical tools and skills are what makes him not that special. His height and wingspan are average for the position. His skill level is not that advanced. Plus he's a decent athlete but he's not a plus athlete like an Andrew Wiggins where you can excuse a lack of great skills at an early age. On top of that the kid is already 20 years old. Very old for his class.

All around mediocre prospect. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being a total bust like Ben McLemore. At best he might be a Jimmy Butler type.

Josh Jackson is NOT special.

Yea I was actually thinking of him being like a Ben Mclemore if he has the same mentality. Or a Jeremy Lamb type.

He looks athletic to me and good body control. I think hell play a position down in NBA making his height and wingspan good.

Josh Jackson gonna be the best of them all, just watch

He has the highest floor that's for sure, so you can't really go wrong taking him. I don't know about the best in this class though, unless he becomes an elite ball handler and probably an above average shooter on top of that. Then we'll talk.

Markelle Fultz has a little loser in him like Anthony Davis but besides that he has the tools to be a star. Haven't seen an offensive game that polished in a while

The guys who become superstars in the league are more than polished. They have either freakish athleticism or generational skill level.

Fultz has neither. He's as mediocre as it gets.

Yea I'm thinking of how polished kyrie was when he came in the league and some players are just superstars from day 1.

But players can develop. Look at Kemba, lillard, and curry.

You don't take Kemba Walker or Dame Lillard 1st overall.

My take on Fultz is not that he can't be a decent NBA player. Or even an all-star. He's just not a transcendent or special talent like some have tried to tout him as. And he's definitely not the best or second best player in this class. That title belongs to Jayson Tatum and Lonzo Ball. They are head and shoulders better than everyone else in this class.

True. I really wasn't sold on fultz during the season. But NBA drafts on potential and they usually get it right.

Fultz really doesn't have any major weaknesses and he's NBA size. The most NBA ready.

Teams always like point guard prospects as well

:jbhmm: 2/13 in his pro debut. Looks like absolute trash.

I'm pretty sure I was right about Fultz being a bust.
