you missed the word "MIGHT"?

I was open to the following 4 players being the best ultimately from the 2014 draft. Embiid, Wiggins, Exum, and LaVine.

You'll also find quotes from me saying LaVine had as high if not a higher ceiling than Wiggins before the draft.

I was high on all 4 guys. So far I think I went 3 of 4 cause Embiid, Wiggins, and LaVine all look like surefire stars of the future. Exum is a monumental bust. But then again a lot of other people were high on Exum when he was coming out as well.
You said he was the best player and then you said he might play in Utah for 7 years.

You said Andrew Wiggins was the next Michael Jordan

You said Dante Exum was the best player in Wiggins draft class.

Therefore, you said Exum would be better than Jordan.

No one should listen to you

To rank Tatum over Fultz..is elite trolling.

No its not. Its the right decision. Tatum is the better prospect.

I remember in 2014 when I said the Lakers should take Zach LaVine #7 overall ahead of Marcus Smart, Julius Randle, and Aaron Gordon, people lost their minds. Dante Exum vs. Zach LaVine

Now LaVine looks like the 3rd best player in that draft after Wiggins and Embiid. Even I underrated him by thinking guys like Exum and Parker were better. I'm not making that mistake again. I will not let the media and these idiotic draft experts trick me into underrating a guy I liked off the jump.

I liked LaVine from the jump and he's proven in the league that I should trust my initial instincts. I feel the same thing about Tatum regardless of the media narrative.

Look. I said a lot of things in the lead up to that draft. One thing I didn't say is that he would DEFINITELY be the best from that draft. I only said it was possible. I was always highest on Embiid and Wiggins. Followed by Exum and LaVine. I was not as high on Julius Randle. I've since changed my mind on that. I was never high on Marcus Smart and still stand by that and feel I've been proven right.

You called him "the best player in the draft"

After saying someone else in that draft was the new Michael Jordan.

Never said he would be the best. I was always highest on Wiggins and Embiid. But I did have Exum #3. And I was super high on him. I will admit that was a very stupid call.

Well this is one of the few times analytics agrees with the eye test. Cause I have Lonzo #1 overall based on watching him play. I could care less what those idiot cacs and their math formulas say.

Eye test >>> Analytics

Almost every year you have some light skin as your #1 and most years you're wrong. Even in football you continuously bet on piss colored people, and are proven wrong. The only piss colores QB worth anything ever is Dak Prescott and hes unusual.

If he has the right mentality. Other than that he has all the physical tools and skills.

Actually his physical tools and skills are what makes him not that special. His height and wingspan are average for the position. His skill level is not that advanced. Plus he's a decent athlete but he's not a plus athlete like an Andrew Wiggins where you can excuse a lack of great skills at an early age. On top of that the kid is already 20 years old. Very old for his class.

All around mediocre prospect. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being a total bust like Ben McLemore. At best he might be a Jimmy Butler type.

Josh Jackson is NOT special.
