I really think much of the Dominican Republic is mostly mulatto, european or african mainly.
There is still native ancestry there mind you but I really believe the spanairds wiped the natives out.
Spaniards are a funny mix themselves. They are European but also Arab so that's where some of the "native" like features come from. The Arab influence.
I'm not trying to say that there's not native influence but most look mainly african and european to mean with possible arab influence more than anything.

An article was posted here stating that 15% of Dominicans have Taino ancestry. So they may have Been massacred, but to act like all traces of native ancestry has completely vanished is inaccurate.
And the DR has a population of roughly 10million people. 15% of that is 1.5 million, which is hardly some small insignificant figure to ignore. It's very likely she has Taino ancestry.
And anyway, I never claimed she was 100% Taino. She probably has African/euro Dna as well. She's heavily admixed, so to just act like she's black is bullshyt.

PR and DR have less than 15-20% Native ancestry in their genetic pool and thats only the 15-20% who even have it at all.
