I'm still struggling to see why and how Tupac and Biggie are top 5 still.

Kendrick, per actual hip-hop lovers, has 3 back-to-back-to-back masterpieces, the GOAT diss, and doesn’t really have a flaw in his game besides features.

Where the hell is Ice Cube in this (one of the pioneers in gangsta rap, which has roots all throughout the music landscape, best artist on a legendary group, 3 classics in a row, countless hits, longevity, etc.)?
It was considered he already had 4 classics in 2019.

its not really my opinion.. its the general consensus.. lets be real..... Biggie,Jay Z, Nas, Tupac was already in the Top 4... and there's no argument anymore for Kendrick not top to be in the Top 5.. hell, he might be Top 3.

If you wanna talk mainstream Top 5, then replace Kendrick with Ice Cube. Numeric order of the five may vary.

They died. Crakkas are obsessed with death and nikkas are obsessed with what crakkkas promote to them. The same with Dilla. He's an all time great producer, but the man simply couldn't get placements the last year of his life and no one was buying his records. As soon as he dies, white folks act like they'd been fans of the man since he was learning to use the MPC 60 starting all of this "goat" talk. And it's disrespectful to those that were putting in work producing classics BEFORE him and AFTER his death. Biggie had 2 albums and 3 years active in hip hop(after his first release) and this mf got in the rock n roll HOF before Rakim, LL(he's in now), Nas, Wutang, De la Soul, and many others with at least 20 years in the industry :russ: . Make it make sense to me.

Had Nas been killed before IWW dropped, he would never have had a chance to make those average albums and people would overrate him. Some get special treatment in death and others, like Big Pun, are ignored.
Tupac is still being respected...but you're right about biggie, he's only getting mentions by old heads...but in general he's slowly getting the big l treatment (barely making appareances in top 10 now)

Biggie is the Greatest MC ever. No one can rap like him.

He is the number one wordsmith who ever did it.
