We have an entire home continent.
I'm African-American. I, as well as the majority of African-Americans who live in the United States to day have no connection to Africa other than an "unknown" ancestry. I'm not African. I don't have ties to the continent other than my ancestor's kidnapping from *somewhere* in the continent, and their subsequent enslavement. No language, no known family, no cultural ties, none of that.
African-Americans are a "lost people," so to speak, we don't have a home, the United States certainly isn't. Africa isn't out "home" its the home of out ancestors, the government is going to act like the Chinese government and allow me a cut into the massive amount of wealth generated from treating "lesser citizens" like slaves. The Chinese are generating this money in their own country, using their own resources, and their own labour, and then exporting the rich to the US and Europe.
And everyone in this thread opposed to what I'm saying, are all pushing a very ambitious agenda. "We need to join in the movers and shakers in the Silicon Valley," "we need to own international corporations," "we need to takeover in every growing field," and that's great. The problem is, is a
hell of a lot easier said than done. I plan on being an investment banker for a few years, before I go to law school and hopefully gain a high-paying BigLaw job. Is that not ambitious enough? Do I need to put in 3000 hours at JPMorgan, become VP, quit, graduate #1 at Yale Law School, decline offers at every V100 firm and instead start my own that will gain notoriety for its use of a new method akin to the "poison pill?" Use 75% of my earnings to send Detroit high school kids to Stanford if they agree to keep a 4.0 all year?
Its fantastic that you guys all want African-Americans to "do like the other races" and rise up out of the destruction that is our stolen heritage to become contenders for economic power in America, but no one has actually proposed anything to do so. I don't think anyone on theColi is running a multibillion dollar tech firm, inventing a popular app, owns a bank, or is founding partner of a law firm? This "new Black" "we can't blame White people for holding us back for 400 years anymore because Jay-Z is a billionaire bbbut the Jews bbbut the Chinese bbbut the immigrants" bullshyt isn't helping anyone out. Its just helping White people avoid blame for their direct actions against Black people that have put us in this miserable condition.
