if you actually watched the first 10 minutes of that interview you’d know that he mentioned his ex wife’s family being extremely racist saying how they hate black people and using the N word with the hard ER. He said he cut them off because of that shyt. His ex wife’s family was on that their granddaughter is cool but they hate ******s.
Dude is white. His ex wife is white. He could have easily just said I’m going to raise my adopted daughter as a white girl and completely ignore the fact that she’s half black.
He said he has no black friends growing up, but he took the time to research black culture and history for his daughter. And you can tell he did by the things he says.
he also said they’ve experienced similar racism from other whites. They like black people but hate ******s and how his daughter has been exposed to that. Said it’s tough for her because she isn’t white enough nor black enough.

His ex wife is a chameleon from what I’ve gathered. And basically became what he wanted as she wanted a provider. Also said his wife is very attractive.
Baby daddy was a football star with a full ride to I believe UNC. Got hurt, lost the scholarship, dropped out and got into drugs.
signed away his legal ties to his daughter because he was several years behind on CS , but still wants to be part of the daughter’s life.
at this point and time, daughter wants nothing to do with the biological father.

The most egregious part of this entire thing is she essentially lied for years about not being able to get pregnant but showed up positive one day with someone else's kid. She didn't view him as someone worthy enough to birth his child.

If men were half as protected as women and the system wasn't so unfair and brutal to those trying to do the right thing, most likely more dudes would be willing to take on children that aren't theirs. But the system encourages shyt like this, so of course those of us who haven't been in the situation give it a wide berth. I've been divorced for years now but luckily we never had children together or any assets so I was lucky.
But no way I'm losing everything I built up and worked hard for to some fukking sociopath. It's not happening.
