Its gotten so bad u cant even give legit criticism of a game or console regardless of console. Ive seen cats who rep PS4 shyt on other cats who own PS4 cause of constructive criticism of a game. Regardless of the 1080p/60fps debate these consoles are at least 10x stronger than their predecessors and are using a multitude of new graphics techniques, like async compute, timed resources, multithreading, etc.

The power is just being used to actually improve graphical assets and on screen content as allowed to pushing up resolution and framerate so forum warriors would feel better.

I'll take a game like sunset with thousands of A.I. And pure chaos on screen at 900p over last gen assets and less A.I. Just to hit 1080p

I just think people are delusional in what they want these consoles to do. nikkas want the consoles to be as powerful as a high end gaming PC but a high end gaming PC's graphics card alone is around the same price and sometimes more than these current consoles..and that doesnt include having a cpu that wont bottleneck the shyt. Then the same cats will turn around and bash a console for the price of it if it costs too much. Its like what the fukk u want? Unless u willing to shove out 600+ bucks for a high end console just shut the fukk up already and if anything. Pressure these devs to make more creative, interesting, and less buggy games.

Brehs this has been a slippery slope since the 360 and PS3. Sony heads whole selling point for the PS3 was "you don't got enough money to afford the best?"....calling it a Bentley....corny shyt like this:



Basically acting like the PS3 is caviar and the 360 is dog food. Ok cool....the problem is that invited PC heads to tell you what's really the best....and the same people sitting in here talking about "PCs are too expensive, I just want it real basic and be able to game, who cares about 1080p and 60 FPS"....all the shyt you were saying last gen went out the window. You sound like a 360 dude talking to a PS3 dude.

Not to mention the entire last gen, and to a certain extent this gen, a lot of console gamers jumped into the whole tech spec deal, arguing over shyt they don't even understand. Misusing words. Which, again, gave PC heads a foot in the door because that's the kind of shyt they're well versed in.

Not saying PC heads should be all up in every thread on some shyt but it didn't come out of the clear blue sky.

But PC heads have NO versions of Uncharted, TLOU, Halo 5, Forza Horizon, Mario, Zelda, I could literally go on and on.

And you know what PC heads say in return to that? They go

I live FPS games right, and I feel that using a mouse is cheap because who in real life can spin around and fire accurately with a sniper rifle across an entire map, just to turn around instantly and do the exact same thing in the other direction? nikkaz shooting down Choppers in Battlefield with handguns.

That's whats poppin on PC, and I havent' even gotten into all the Aim-Bots/etc.

PC gaming will NEVER be on the level of console gaming. And console gamers will never turn into nerdy PC gamers. Just facts, doesn't matter if PC gamers accept the reality

You gotta realize from a development standpoint the learning curve for this new Generation of games is extremely high. Because of the increased detail and resolution of these games you have entirely new methods for animation, scaling, lighting etc. These guys are learning on the fly and they have really only scratched the surface of what these systems can do. We cannot expect the same output we had in the previous 2 generations because the jump in technology is astronomical. I think it will be another year or two before he hit the 'prime' of these systems, but let's not act like the 360 and PS3 were knocking it out of the park in year one.
